It depends on the size of the t-shirts. T-shirts are not made equally. Size small of one brand could be a larger than size small of another brand. These are approximations based on t-shirt samples. These measurements do not include borders or sashing into account. Adding borders and/or sashing can increase quilt size without needing to add t-shirts.

Every quilt is not the same. Your quilt does not need to match standard quilt sizes. Use the standard quilt sizes as a guide but do not try to match exactly.
